Loan Overview
All you need to know
This is where our credit union really shines. We offer the same range of products you can get at other financial institutions. But the difference is this: we prefer people to policies. So we're always open to terms that work for you. A human being in Member Services reviews your loan request, taking your other obligations into account and tailors a loan that fits your life. Often, we can combine your loan with your other debts to save you money and lower your monthly payments. That's just another example of what we mean when we say, "Family & Friends for Life." Go on. Apply.
We'll do it any way you like: in person at our main office or the Credit Union Service Center, over the phone at (509) 328-2900 or (800) 541-4310, or online. You'll get 1/4% off most of our secured loan rates if you apply online. Get another 1/4% off when you sign up for automatic payment from your SFCU checking or savings account. And yet another 1/4% off when you purchase a fuel efficient vehicle. What happens next
Our loan process is as pleasant as you'll find anywhere.
When we get your application, a loan officer looks it over and gets back to you. Once in a while, a loan request doesn't meet our policy requirements. But we don't stop there. We send it on to the loan review committee for a final decision. That way, you get every opportunity to hear us say, "Yes." Refinancing
We're going to let you in on a little secret. Ready?
We probably have the best loan terms you can find. So if you're carrying debt from an auto dealership, a bank, or some other lending institution, let us see if we can refinance your high-cost loans for less. You'll save money and because you'll have all your loans in one place, time as well. To have a member services specialist look into what we can do for you, click here and tell us as much as you can about your situation: type of loan you'd like to refinance, amount, creditor, etc. We'll get back in touch with you soon. Making your payments
We'll take it however you want to give it to us: automatic deposit, automatic transfer, mail, EDNA, Home Banking, in person, or in the night drop. It might not be a good idea to leave it on our doorstep in a brown paper bag, though.
