Deposit Options

How to deposit

Now you've got options.

When it comes to deposits, the days of always having to make a trip to your branch are over.

Payroll deduction

Give yourself less to think about.

Have all or part of your paycheck automatically distributed to your share, share draft, loan, and IRA accounts exactly the way you tell us to. We'll work with your employer to set it up.

Direct deposit

Eliminate the Friday afternoon dash to fund your weekend fun. With direct deposit, your paycheck, Social Security check, or retirement payment heads straight into your account without passing Go. And you'll still get a check stub so you can keep track of all the particulars.

Shared branching

As we all learned when we were little: sharing is caring. And in this case it certainly is, but it's also very convenient, too.

You see, we have agreements with credit unions across the Inland Northwest (and others around the country and world, too) so you can use their lobby locations to do almost any transaction you need all at no extra cost to you.

With your credit union name, member number, and government issued picture ID (like a driver's license or passport), just go to any participating credit union and you can:
. cash checks
. get account printouts
. make deposits
. pay loans
. purchase money orders and traveler's checks
. transfer money between your accounts
. withdraw funds

While it's not available at drive-ups and normal fees (which may vary at other credit unions) for certain things still apply, as a member you get the service for free.

It's just something we really want to share with you.

Can't get out of the house? Call the Shared Branching Call Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-866-692-8669.

U.S. Mail

It's not fancy, but how can you argue with neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night...

Just write a check, tell us which account you want it in, and mail it to us at:
P.O. Box 2519
Spokane, WA 99220-2519

We'll make sure nothing keeps us from the swift completion of your appointed deposit.

Night drop

Sometimes our tellers have to go home to fix dinner or mow the lawn, but you can always drop your deposits off at:
SFCU's main office, 601 West Mallon (on the east side of the main office building)
SFCU's drive-up, 930 North Howard (at the far end of the first drive-up lane)
Our Credit Union Service Center, 1212 West Francis (on the east side of the building)

ATMs

Many ATMs worldwide accept deposits. Your account will usually be credited within two or three business days.

In person

We love to see you, so bring your deposits to any of our branches and say "Hi."
