Members Matter Most

International Credit Union Day is October 18th.  It has been the third Thursday of October since 1948.  This year the theme “Members Matter Most” reflects how we feel about you!  All of us here at SFCU are focused on you and your needs.  We value your membership and we wouldn't be here without you.

International Credit Union Day is an opportunity to celebrate the Credit Union movement and the purpose we are here—to serve you and help you reach your financial success!   Credit Unions are unique in their philosophy and structure.  We are democratically owned and controlled, based on a “people helping people” principle.  The Credit Union’s board of directors are elected by you, our members, and each member has an equal vote regardless of how much you have on deposit.  Only members may serve as directors and volunteers.

As the CEO of Spokane Federal Credit Union, it is an honor and privilege to serve you.  Thank you for being a loyal SFCU member and if you’re in the neighborhood on October 18th, be sure and stop by for a cookie and some Thomas Hammer Coffee!
