We all love the internet, right?† How could we live without it?† As much fun as it is, itís also important to remember that we have to protect our information online.
October is National Cyber Security Month.† According to the Better Business Bureau, there are a few things you can do to protect yourself online.
- Use strong passwords, and donít share them with anyone.
- Make sure your computer is optimized by installing regular browser, operating system, and other critical software updates.
- Use privacy settings to avoid sharing information for all to see.
- Be cautious about what you read or see online. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
